Part Time Custodian

Pay: $10 / Hour

List of Responsibilities

• Empty wastebaskets
• Clean Bathrooms (Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, restock disposables, empty wastebaskets)
• Dust and wipe front counter
• Swiffer hard surface floors
• Vacuum carpeted areas 
• Clean windows (both inside and out)
• Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors
• Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude for Job

• Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment and the ability to use them economically and efficiently
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Good physical condition and strength

Schedule 

City Hall
Once Weekly (2 Hours)

• Empty wastebaskets

• Clean windows (both inside and out)

Police Department
Once Weekly (2 Hours)

• Empty wastebaskets
• Clean Bathrooms (Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, restock disposables, empty wastebaskets)
• Swiffer hard surface floors
• Vacuum carpeted areas

Expectations

• For the security of City Hall and City business, only the person hired for these tasks is authorized to be in City Hall after business hours.
